Considerate words and thoughts are excellent manners in which we express consideration, but they fall short in demonstrating true regard when compared to a genuine act of boldness. Ideas, words, and beliefs are all abstracts which have no immediate effect on our tangible world, but actions can move mountains. Actions can inspire others to follow a cause, create or destroy that around us, and convey humility to others in our presence. Thoughts are usually shared through words which are restricted by the barrier of language. Actions, however, have no barrier and can be transferred freely between all elasticities and cultures. Great actions are not reserved for great people, but are the work of a common person working to better our world. When an average person acts in ways to benefit society, nation, or humanity, they become as great as their actions. By performing great, humane, and respectful actions, one person is improving the world for those around oneself, near and far.

Since such a small amount of fuel is required, the overall cost of operating a nuclear powered car would be lower than traditional fossil fuels, and the car is as sleek looking as today’s finest sports car. Instead of smoke and ash, nuclear energy produces solid radioactive waste that can be stored underground to protect humans and other animals. Through the use of nuclear energy in automobiles, we can improve the lives of all Americans and help to reverse the damage we have already caused to our world.
A major problem facing drivers in the modern world of travel is the soaring cost of using a conventional internal-combustion automobile. An automobile that is powered using a fusion-reactor engine requires a very minimal amount of fuel, which would be a uranium or plutonium isotope. A sphere of the radioactive isotope would be approximately the size of a golf ball and contain enough energy to power a car through average use for ten years. This orb of fuel would be installed at a specialized facility to guarantee safety and prevention of injury because of the hazards of uncontrolled radioactivity. The cost of operating a nuclear powered car would significantly decrease the cost of owning and using an automobile. Fuel is replenished once every ten years, which spreads the cost over a ten year period and will end up costing less than conventional gasoline. With this saved money, consumers will be more likely to purchase products and stimulate the American economy which will boost us back to the top of global trade dominance. Not only are nuclear powered automobiles more affordable to operate than conventional automobiles; they are also more environmentally friendly.
In the last decade, topics such as global warming and environmental damage have become the focus of media and discussion, but nuclear powered cars may put these claims to shame. Conventional automobiles produce carbon-dioxide, carbon-monoxide, ash and soot, as well as other poisonous gases that can eventually cause change to the climate of the planet and damage to animal species. Nuclear powered automobiles only produce energy, heat, and solid waste in the form of spent radioactive matter. This spent radioactive matter is still slightly hazardous, but can be stored, and already is being stored, in underground facilities. The water pools that this waste is stored in are designed to shield the surrounding area from harmful radiation emitted by the particles as they decay through a half-life cycle. It has been proven that this is an effective way to guarantee the safety of humans and other animals on Earth. Nuclear powered automobiles can protect the environment, but they can also protect the future of the United States of America.
America has become dependent on foreign oil and it has put our future in control of radical middle eastern countries, but investing in nuclear powered automobiles will put the U.S. back in control. Nuclear automobiles require radioactive fuel that the United States can extract from the ground within the U.S. border. Mining operations in states such as Colorado and Utah supply the uranium used by power plants to generate electricity for part of the United States. By using uranium mined by U.S. businesses, we keep our money circulating within our economy and out of foreign markets to keep us ahead. Automobiles powered by nuclear energy will also provide other benefits to the public other than reduced cost of using an automobile. Gas stations can be found on all roadways in the United States and they take up valuable land, but using nuclear power instead of gasoline would drive gas stations out of business, freeing up land and unclogging our streets. Nuclear powered automobiles also require no refueling between ten year periods and so no time is spent “filling up your tank”, which means more time is spent doing what you want. For many years we have been looking for a solution to our energy crisis, and by using nuclear power as our main source of energy, we may have found our solution.
America’s streets are congested with automobiles that produce toxic gas, cost us millions, and help foreign countries. If we eliminate these byproducts through the use of nuclear automobiles we can better the life of everyone in America. Using these types of automobiles will lower the expense of transportation to every American family giving them valuable money to spend elsewhere. Pollution of our atmosphere will become minuscule with the use of a car that produces no emissions and only solid waste. Creating a new sector of the economy, nuclear fuel, will help keep the United States economy thriving and keep us above the global competition we face from other countries. The benefits of nuclear automobiles are not reserved for just humans, but extend to all walks of life. Our environment will become cleaner and safer for all types of animals around the world because they will no longer have to cope with emissions, oil spills, and off-shore oil drilling. The solution to our energy crisis, that has plagued the human race for a half-century, is simple, nuclear powered automobiles will free us from our problems.
